Mothers Day focuses on mothers, not just mothers in the traditional nuclear family. Fathers Day focuses on fathers, not just fathers in the traditional nuclear family. Valentine's Day does not specify who it is for but solicits commercialism from everybody.

There is no recognition of the nuclear family--a responsible mother, father, and children--as the very best situation for the kids and for the country.

And it is people making arguments like yours that continue to make the traditional family unnecessary and unimportant and we have throwaway marriages or no marriages at all, throwaway kids or kids torn between multiple families and I believe that is a factor in more crime, less stable neighborhoods, poorer schools, less prosperity, less quality of life for all.

I would rather Americans focus on principle, values, integrity, common sense, personal responsibility and accountability, what is wholesome, edifying, helpful as opposed to crude, rude, vulgar, demoralizing, harmful/destructive etc.

But this thread sure does illustrate how much the 'woke' pooh pooh the value of the traditional family with a responsible mom and dad in the home. They don't want to say that it is bad thing but are doing their damndest to downplay it as a good thing.
