so give me some advice on how to approach this with Home Depot management.
I spent 600 on the lumber to build these tables earlier this year. I sold them for 1200 per table and so far have had ZERO call backs. This table is on my deck and has weathered TERRIBLY. I bought treated wood and sanded in between about 6 coats of finish. This is going to cost me a fortune in spring via refunds after our winter has its way. How do I go in and complain on future costs?

Moral of the story is Box Store lumber is trash!

Hastily or improperly cured lumber? I look around me and see a lot of shit products being produced lately: Stuff that was thrown together and cranked out by low-IQ apes, because the high-quality workers are at home sitting on their asses, drawing $300 a month for every kid.

This must be FJB's "Build Back Better" and "long dark winter" he keeps babbling about.

As an aside, those Chinese torx screws are garbage, too.

You can't even find a deck screw with a #2 or #3 head any more. Not in Home Depot or Lowe's anyway.

I'd probably sand it and coat it with teak oil before it gets any worse.

It's probably easier/quicker if you take it apart first. Just make sure you mark them to keep track of where every board goes.

And watch out for this guy.
