Thankfully she is getting mental health treatment

House Stenographer Dianne Reidy was dragged off to a mental hospital after she took control of the microphone in the House of Representatives during a vote on ending the government shutdown, stating that the United States was controlled by Freemasonry and that the country had never really been "One Nation Under God."

"The husband of the 48-year-old woman who is now the most famous stenographer in America knew his wife had been getting up in the middle of the night for the past four weeks.

But he did not know why until after the Capitol Police had hustled her from the podium at the House of Representatives to a hospital for psychiatric observation.

Only then did Dianne Foster Reidy tell 54-year-old Dan Reidy that she had been repeatedly awakened by the Holy Spirit and urged to deliver a message on the House floor, where she has worked for the past eight years."

This is Very Sad

Most Republicans think much like this woman, yet most Republicans think it was okay to forcibly institutionalize her. Very curious.

Apparently, she's from an unpopular splinter cult and not the main cult, so she doesn't get the protections that the members of the main Republican cult get. However, mainstream Republicans should keep the "They came for the ..." saying in mind. If it's okay to drag away this crazy women, they could be next. Liberals, being more into civil liberties, are disturbed by anyone being dragged away.

How does anyone know she didn't have a divine experience?
What is a "divine experience?" And how does it differ from a psychotic episode?

A true spiritual experience is attended by a feeling of peace, warmth, love, completeness, a sense of "coming home" or a feeling of clarity in the mind, like it "just makes sense". A feeling of having self-control is another attribute of a spiritual experiences

The answers that come from God are in a "still small voice"... ie, "still" = brings peace within.

Mental health issues are the opposite. They make you feel confused, you hear voices that torment you, make you feel anxious or angry, etc. You have no clarity of thought... words jumble round in your head but nothing makes sense. You feel lost and alone.
You don't usually come back to feeling normal and you remain in this state of mind. Most of the time you are out of control when you have a psychotic episode.
