Although Trump seconded Elon's falsehood laden Twitter/ X post and made the calls to get the bill killed, he did not get to do away with debt ceiling, to help enable more tax cuts, not even for two years, plus will have to go through this same negotiation to spend more, in 3 months, right in the middle of what was to be Trump's honeymoon period. Looks like he will be on his period instead. Like all, I do hope Musk knows what he is doing, and that neither of them do permanent harm.

False. Is there still a debt ceiling, he specifically asked to be eliminated? Yes. Is there a pause from having a debt ceiling for two years of his administration, he asked for? No. Did Biden have to increase the debt ceiling at the end of his term, so Trump would not have to sign one? No. Was the harder line on Chinese goods, he wants aided by the bill? No. Elon got it wiped out of the bill. Did Republicans fall in line to acquiesce to his demands in the budget process? No. Is he still going to have to go through this in three months, after taking office, something he wished to avoid? Yes.

It appears, he got nothing he wanted from either house.
