When China beats Trump, she'll do very well.

Most of my investments are in property and savings. Trump will have to fuck things up pretty bad to effect those.

I do have to admit that high yield savings accounts with zero risk paying 4-5% are pretty attractive options to provide balance to a portfolio. I do that too.

Given how successive Republican Presidents continue to crash the stock market, you have to be a complete moron to keep money in the stock market with a Republican in the White House.

The government has no business doling out aid to those who are not working voluntarily, and to those who refuse to increase their skills to provide for themselves.

The Feds shouldn't even provide funding to those who are unable to work. THAT is the JOB of THE STATES, not the Feds.

It keeps the tax cuts.
It has exemptions for taxation of overtime and tips.
It extends work requirements for able-bodied adults on Medi aid (without dependents).
It beefs up border and ICE agents.

Also, the majority of people will NOT have to pay more taxes next year, thanks to the bill. You leftists hate rich people so much that you’d rather see taxes go up on the working and middle class.

I will tell you who, those that are enrolled in expanded Medicaid. The federal government subsidizes those who enroll in expanded Medicaid by paying 90% of the cost. That subsidy is going away. By law, in North Carolina, that means the expansion of Medicaid will be eliminated. Close to one million people will lose their coverage.

Additionally, there have been expanded subsidies to those that purchase health insurance on the exchange, through the ACA. Those subsidies are eliminated and beneficiaries will see massive rate increase after 2025. A significant number of them will drop that coverage when it is no longer affordable.

The impact will be felt by everyone, not just those that lose their coverage. Rural hospitals will be forced to close. When North Carolina finally expanded Medicaid, emergency room visits dropped by 29%, drug overdose deaths dropped by 27%, those numbers will rise if this bill is signed into law.
