The Democrat and a few repubs proposal was for keeping the tax cuts on taxable income below $500,000, the tax cuts are extended up to that amount of income,

and tax the income above that $500k, only those tax cuts would expire, and not be extended.

This would add two trillion in revenue to the treasury, and reduce the deficits added to the National debt, by $2 Trillion for the 10 yr period. So instead of the tax cuts adding $4 trillion in cost, they would add $2 trillion in cost, to the National debt.

I think the Senate is working on such a proposal too, or something similar....we will see if they cave to Trump, or do their constitutional duty, and represent the citizens in their districts, and represent what's truly best for the United States.
