No one claimed that "he incited it months ago."
Compelling evidence was presented that he had prepped his goons for it long before he incited it.

Isn’t it amazing how when people take the time and trouble to investigate they find more evidence of Trump’s criminal conspiracy, wrongdoing and plans to claim victory in the election regardless of what the voters decided.
During the first impeachment you fool screamed long and loud that the Democratic Party was trying to thwart the will of the voters. They should acquit Trump and let the voters decide.
Well the voters decided. The voters made it crystal clear that they do not want four more years of Trump. But just like all of trumps business deals gone bad, Trump went to the courts to overturn the will of the voters. When that failed, knowing that the military would not follow his illegal orders, Trump incited the mob with stories of stolen elections and voter fraud.
Every business deal that Trump has ever been a part of ends with Trump being hauled away from the project after having exhausted every legal means possible to retain his stake and control. His election as president has ended no different than any other business deal he’s been involved in. The owners are broke, deeply in debt, and are in danger of losing everything. Trump refuses to except their decision to part ways with him, and continues to show up for work and try to bill the owners for his incompetent, chaos and corruption.
The American people are just the latest in a long list of Trump victims.

So the Democrats used a newspaper story about Lee for evidence that was not true. They were forced to remove it from the records by Lee. But not before they almost voted to keep the evidence on record knowing it was a lie. Something really wrong there. Anyone who cannot see it is lying to themselves and others.
These people do not belong in the Senate they belong in a backyard gossiping with their neighbors over their fence.

What are your requirements for a violent mob being incited to invade and wreak havoc upon Congress to prevent the democratic process from unfolding to be an "insurrection" if not "rising in revolt, rebellion, or resistance against civil authority or an established government", Sunshine?
