It's absurd that the Demofascists would block a relatively small increase in the maximum sentence for human traffickers. Especially with so many of their prosecutors not bothering with violent criminals anyway.

Still, no prison sentence would be long enough. To little likelihood of getting caught and too much profit to be made. The solution is to close the border, and assume that any alien seen crossing the border is the spearhead of a larger invasion and shoot to kill.

Lieutenant Michal Byrd can be sent for temporary duty to train the border patrol in that policy.

I'm sure most here, no matter party affiliation, would agree that people participating in child sex trafficking deserve the harshest punishments allowed.
I mean, other than new SCOTUS affirmative action token Ketanji Jackson, everybody is appalled by these types of disgusting acts against children & have no tolerance for those perpetrating this evil that ruins young, innocent lives.
So why would all the Dems unanimously reject harsher mandatory sentencing guidelines against them?
When they also are trying to reduce penalties for pedos in various places as well, it makes you wonder why the progs are so against punishment for perversions against children?
In an election year with rock bottom approval numbers, it seems like they would want to at least make it seem like they are protecting children but they go the opposite way in a manner sure to upset people on both sides.

It's almost like they know they don't have to worry about real elections anymore...

Chip Roy (R), would have lengthened the minimum sentencing for those who have been convicted of “trafficking children by force, fraud, or coercion” – raising the minimum punishment from 10-15 years to a minimum of 15-20 years, depending on the offense. The measure also would have increased the maximum penalties for the heinous crime by an additional 5 years.

Why is it that when you put a pedophile or criminal who hurts a child in 'general population' in prison the very worst criminals / people our society have to offer will kill them as quickly as possible...

I have to think that the Democrats are just contrarians on issues like that. There is no reason for them to be so protective of criminal pedophiles except that they know that their stance is appalling to normal people.

My theory is that many of the worst criminals were abused as children themselves, so they are eager for payback when a Joe Biden comes into their cell block.

And, unlike many Democrats, they have morals, value the innocense of a child, and / or want to protect the most vulnerable among us...

After reading the amendment I cannot see any reason at all to vote against it other than stupid partisan politics.

The Democrats are trying to change the culture so that sex with kids is de-criminalized, de-stygmatized, and then finally accepted in the same way that homosexuality is now accepted. Increasing minimum penalties for the traffickers they want to patronize is a step away from that.

The Democreeps aren't grooming all these confused kids into thinking they need hormone blockers and surgeries, only to be sent to jail for taking advantage of them after the desired "transformation" is complete.
