House Judiciary Committee has released the video of special prosecutor Jack Smith’s deposition

According to Bush v Gore, that’s not possible.
Anything is possible in a court of law.

They claimed to have been duly elected and qualified.
That's why several were charged with forging. They changed the wording in Pennsylvania.

You miss the point that even thought these contingent electors weren't duly appointed, if Trump would have won any of those states challenges, He would have electors who voted in place and would win that state. The issue of validity as contingent would have to be settled in court.

Prove fraud
Actually you have it backwards. Trump had to prove fraud in court, and failed miserably. Trump lost half a dozen lawyers who were sanctioned or disbarred because their fraud claims were frivolous.

They truly believed they were elected. No intent, no fraud.
Did they have the certificate of ascertainment from the governor?

Nope.

They knew they hadn’t been elected. Elected people don’t sneak into the back door of the Capitol and sign a document they printed off of Microsoft word to cast a vote for President.

If Trump would have won any of those lawsuits and had these contingent electors listed, He would have won that state. They would have had had to have a court, state legislature or Congress to recognize them as valid.
If my aunt had balls .......

Further evidence it was unconstitutional and the law means nothing.

They were never valid and since they had already passed the legislative safe harbor date, their votes couldn’t be counted.

We know the plan for the fraudulent electors was to use them to interfere with the vote counting on January 6th. It’s in the Eastman memo.

Did they have the certificate of ascertainment from the governor?
I'll repeat, for a second time. THey didn't say they did.
Nope.

Sigh.

To become a duly elected and qualified elector, you have to have a certificate of ascertainment from the governor.

It’s how the process works.

So, in review:

Only one criminal conspiracy to steal the 2020 election was ever uncovered. And it was led by Donald Trump.

If my aunt had balls .......
Knowing your politics, she probably does......... :highfive:

They were never valid and since they had already passed the legislative safe harbor date, their votes couldn’t be counted.
Passed the safe harbor date due to the courts had Trump's lawsuits tied up in court.

To become a duly elected and qualified elector, you have to have a certificate of ascertainment from the governor.
Or do what they did and have Congress, the state or the courts decide on their validity in the event of a win.

You think that Arizona having 22 republican chosen and supposedly certified electors is kosher?

Gore had more reason to complain about that than Trump. Trump just kept filing more and more bullshit lawsuits.
Or do what they did and have Congress, the state or the courts decide on their validity in the event of a win.
The states never authorized the electors, which is what makes them fraudulent. They were never valid and never would be.

They truly believed they were elected. No intent, no fraud.
It isn't what they believed, not after the courts told them what the truth was.
No different than a parent in a divorce believing they had custody of the children, and a judge rules custody to the other spouse.
Even if they believed they had custody, they would be charged and convicted of kidnapping.

Or do what they did and have Congress, the state or the courts decide on their validity in the event of a win.
Again:

You think that Arizona having 22 republican chosen and supposedly certified electors is kosher?

They had 11 and they traditionally voted for the candidate who wins the vote total. Az was one of the states being contested, in this case, yes.

The states never authorized the electors, which is what makes them fraudulent. They were never valid and never would be.
You don't know that. If Biden was found to have participated in voting hanky panky, should he still take that state? By having those electors for Trump would present a strange and unusual subject for the courts to decide.

The trial of the Arizona faction of Trump's criminal conspiracy begins on Monday.

Expect several of those charged to change their pleas to guilty, on Monday morning.
