42yo David DePape was met by 82yo Paul Pelosi, husband of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, when jmhe broke into their home.
Whole DePape was unarmed and wearing nothing but his underwear, Pelosi was armed with an 'assault hammer'. Within seconds, however, DePape disarmed Pelosi and began to beat him with the weapon.
"The suspect pulled the hammer away from Mr. Pelosi and violently assaulted him with it," San Francisco Police Chief William Scott said during a news briefing later that morning."
'The attack left Pelosi hospitalized, but he is expected to make a full recovery after undergoing successful surgery on a fractured skull, according to Drew Hammill, Nancy Pelosi’s spokesman. He also suffered serious injuries on his left arm and both hands.'
'The perimeter fence did nothing to keep the assailant out, and once inside the home Mr. Pelosi was forced to defend himself,' stated San Francisco Police Chief William Scott. 'This all could have been avoided were it not for Democrats' failed policies and agendas.'
CHIEF Scott explained:
Due to Speaker Pelosi's and the Democrats' 'Defund the Police Movement' our budget was slashed and our man-power was cut in half.
Due to the Democrats' jail reform (cashless bail), and liberal policies our officers are kept busy picking up used needles in parks and on sidewalks, taking homeless nuts and criminals to jail only to have to release them when we get there ... all of which is why it took us so long to respond.
DePape had been arrested 24 times in the past for B&E, assault, streaking, and other crimes, but SanFran's liberal DA continues to let criminals go.
Liberals are against the 2nd Amendment, so the Pelosi's preferred weapon with which to defend themselves is an 'assault hammer'. In the right hands the assault weapon can be a formidable weapon...to an extent. Lets be honest - most criminals have guns, and a hammer is no match for a gun. Luckily tbe 82yo Pelosi, DePape wasn't armed; however, the assailant - half Pelosi's age - easy disarmed Mr. Pelosi and used it againt him.
Had Pelosi had a firearm he have shot shot the bastard immediately without sustaining any injuries in the process.'
Hearing of the severity of Mr. Pelosi's injuries, Speaker Pelosi's fellow Democrats began authoring legislation to outlaw 'assault hammer' ownership.
