Since taking office Dec. 7, Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon has come under fire for implementing a series of directives for progressive prosecution that he promised during his campaign.

A few of his directives include:
  • Ordering his prosecutors to ignore laws that the union says protect the public, including three-strike allegations and sentencing enhancements.
  • Eliminating cash bail, even though voters did not approve Prop 25, eliminating it.
  • Removing sentencing enhancements, special circumstances, gang enhancements and the death penalty.
  • His deputies would not appear with victims' families at parole hearings,

Well, an L.A. County Judge feels differently and has blocked several of Gascons' reforms.
Several of D.A. George Gascón's reforms blocked by L.A. County judge

Even Democrat cities will vote in Republicans when Democrat politicians decide that kow-towing to radical leftist groups supercedes good governance.

Jones was denied parole in 2015 and 2017 but at his third parole hearing in February, he was found to be suitable for parole by the state at a hearing that prosecutors weren’t allowed to attend as part of new District Attorney George Gascón's reforms.

Comment:
George Gascón strikes once more. Killers like Jones do not belong in society....
At least one of the kids murdered was white. The murderer is black. If the races were reversed, would he even be considered for parole?
The question is, what are the odds he murders again?
Will the parole board be held responsible? Has the Progressive Marxist/DSA Democrat Soros funded Commies created another Jack Henry Abbott?
