For years we have been educating women about the horrors of having a child and extolling the benefits of childlessness. We have literally been persuading women to hate their children. That's where the increased abortion numbers come from. They certainly don't come from crisis pregnancies.

We should simy let them decide if they want kids or not. And if not as a nation we should applaud and respect that. There is nothing wrong with choosing not to have kids. Have them if you want. But as a nation its not our job to promote having kids. Thats justvawful.

I agree abortion is bad. But we should not promote young married people having kids either. A growing trend is not having kids. Its only going to grow. But if abortion is not part of it then we should gladly accept the trend

Now you are changing the subject to birth control. Abortion is NOT birth control it is the failure of birth control. Why would you admire women getting pregnant when they and their children are at a greater risk of health problems? Beyond that, why would one choose abortion over birth control? Here's the problem most of you anti-abortion types have. Outlawing abortion is a practical impossibility, especially with most of them being performed by pill now.

Before Roe (which was a bad decision), abortion laws were like the prostitution laws. They were on the books, but they were rarely enforced and frequenlty broken.

Its nobody's duty to have kids. Kids are a choice, not a duty nor responsibility. Why do you think having them is something to promote? Seems twisted.
