Marcus added that he's worried about capitalism and said thanks to socialism, 'Nobody works. Nobody gives a damn. "Just give it to me. Send me money. I donā€™t want to work - Iā€™m too lazy, Iā€™m too fat, Iā€™m too stupid."'

At 93 he is beyond cancelation so he can say what would get everyone else canceled/fired/ostracized

He places the blame squarely where it belongs RADICAL LEFTISTS IDEOLOGY

Big box stores offer sh*t wages and zero bennies, because they only offer jobs under the 'full time' 40 hr week mandates that require them to are the biggest source of socialism in the USofA.

93 year old has-been says people wonā€™t work for $7.25 so they must not have a work ethic. Pay more or support immigration. Those are his two options. No one is paid to stay at home. Every time I ask for what policy does that you fuckers shut up.

100%. Only about 30% of the work force or less is full time. They are up to $13 an hour but there is no benefits to 70% of their workforce so they get short term employees. Fuck em. They had a record profit year last year. No empathy here.

That piece of shit cheats his employees.
No one forces anyone to work there.
Our local Home Depot pays quite well.

Also here is a salary survey of home depot with a large sample base. Nearly half say its good. Other half say otherwise....yet they're still there? Lol

It seems they are blissfully unaware of all these programs that allow people to just stay home and not work like we are.
I have yet to find any govt. welfare source or a case of socialism that pays me as much to stay at home as I can earn at a job.

Dude is complaining because not enough people are applying to work at Home Depot - so yea you canā€™t force people to work but thatā€™s what he is complaining about. Especially old guys who know how to build a house. They are either safely retired away from viruses or they are actually building houses in this shortage.

He's a long time hardcore conservative.

Socialism isn't destroying capitalism. We have so badly misapplied capitalism that "socialism" (in simplistic terminology) has only become more popular by contrast.

But don't look in the mirror. Ever.
Capitalism failed in 1929 and the US govt. had to save it from itself.

Me either and I have also asked many times for people claiming this to please point them out to me.

we usually called people who worked at Home Depot or Lowe's as those with no trade abilities, because we earned more than the national average being a self-employed tradesman while the clerks earned shit wages.

I think a lot of them were retired folk just wanting out of the houseā€¦ and barely competent folks who need a job like you mentioned.

Without those people, those who build have nothing to build with. I see no sense in putting down anyone working whatever job is being done as it all is needed to get to the end result.

Should the worker helping you find the correct nails you need get paid as much as the one using the nails? Maybe not but they should still be able to pay their bills. Without one cog of the system, none of it works and no, you aren't going to saw and make your own lumber on site.

The people there for a paycheck used to find the old guys for expertise questions. They are just harder to find now.

When an employee flips the box over or googles and starts reading to find the answer they are not an expert. Having said that $13 an hour doesnā€™t really get you expert advice so no shade at people willing to help but arenā€™t experts.

It's super telling how this thread about an AMERICAN success has triggered the left!

You fools have NO PROBLEM buying Apples child slave labor shit but can't wait to talk shit on Americans.
