Ummmm, deep fried turkey. Haven't had that since I left Blacksburg, Virginia. That a decent Barbeque!

Here is one for you, Baked Devils Float, not necessarily holiday food, but just something I make every time this year. And it is very easy to make.
For the syrup:
Water 1 1/2 cup
Brown Sugar 1/2 cup
Butter 1 tablespoon
Sugar 1/2 cup
For the batter:
Sugar 1/2 cup
Coco powder 3 teaspoons
baking poweder 2 teaspoons
Flour 1 cup
Butter (soft) 1 tablespoons
Milk 1/2 cup
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
In a sauce pan combine ingredients for the syrup, heat to a low simmer.
For the batter sift together the first 4 ingredients(dry).
Add in butter, milk and vanilla until well blended.
In an 8 inch square cake pan pour in syrup, then spoon in batter.
Cook in 350 oven for 30 minutes.
Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
Note in syrup can use half Kaluha or Baileys and water for an added kick. Enjoy
