Blue states, pay for red states (save for two notable exceptions). What reality do you live in?

LOL…As I have stated many times, yes, red states(in general) are more dependent on federal government money. There are a couple of reasons for that, the most important one being that the poor people in my red state are quite poor and somewhat numerous. They are also very, very Democrat. Our state income and property taxes are not nearly as high as those in most blue states, nor are the as many very high earners(1+ million/yr) as there are in some blue states with very large cities, ergo, our tax revenue is lower. Despite this, the standard of living for average earners is higher and the standard of living for high earners is even higher because the overall cost of living is lower. If the tax revenue we do collect wasn’t largely sent to support low/no wage Democrats, we would have a surplus.

Bottom line, it is Democrats, in general, that drag the system in red states. Move them all to blue states and not only would the taxes go even higher, to a point where the average standard of living is even worse for wage earners, but the state would be relying much more heavily on the federal government.
