Hillary Clintion Leads by 1.7 Million in Popular Vote. More than both JFK's and Carter's Victories

There are still over 3 million votes left to count in California. Therefore, Clinton's victory will be over 2 million votes, possibly over 3 million votes.

This is a sad time for democracy in the United States. We have to deal with the corrupt racist and misogynist bully Trump for at least 4 years because of some nonsense known as the electoral college, which no other democracy in the world is stupid enough to have.

It has been frustrating and downright embarrassing trying to explain to my non American friends how Trump won but Hilary had more votes.

We are a Republic, not a Democracy. The Electoral College was put into place because of the fear of the majority. The system has been in place for over 200 years and if we want to change it, then we need to change it. That said we are a nation of laws. We honor the system that is in place.

Yupp! A representative republic, if we can keep it. And we will.

That's ironic, since the EC at its inception actually created a "majority" -- six of our first seven POTUSES being from Virginia, the state with the most EVs. And it had the most EVs because it got to count slaves as three-fifths of a person (yet they couldn't vote).

So ---- "honor" that.

Tyranny of the minority! Yeah! America! **** Yeah!

You poor little guy. This is not new and if you want it changed, then you need to push for change. Crying because it didn't turn out the way you want it is pretty stupid.

Stop being ridiculous. Even you should be able to understand people's frustration with our process. Hillary's clobbering Trump in the national popular vote by over 2 million and growing, and you expect people to not be frustrated?

The Electoral College is what the rule of law is going in. If you don't like. Mount an effort to change it. Quit crying on a stupid message board, get off your ass and change it. Pretty damn simple.

It is the laws that are in place, it was the rules the candidates were given before any vote was cast. Stop being an idiot!

Bush won 16 years ago without the popular vote and you sat on your asses and did nothing. Now you want to throw a tantrum? Screw you, change the Constitution. Do the work then I will back you.

To recap, what I did was disassemble your claim that "The Electoral College was put into place because of the fear of the majority". Now you've veered off somewhere else.

I accept your concession.

You did nothing of the sort, read up on the history of the Electoral College and why the framers put it into place.

We are a Republic, not a Democracy.

Already have. That's why I just posted what I did. And it clearly didn't keep majority-Virginia from dominating, now did it?

Nope and it didn't prevent Reagan from winning or many others that got the majority vote. But it worked in 2000 and 2016. Work to remove the law if you don't like it or just ***** when you lose, I don't care what you do. So far you just whine about it.

And once again you're running away from your own point. That's OK, you already lost it.

"It worked in 2000 and 2016" -- isn't that revealing.

I didn't have a point I posted that we are a Republic, that the framers worried that a majority of tyranny could ruin the country. Madison was very fearful. It's history. I wasn't arguing anything just stating what the framers were worried about the fact that it didn't work isn't my fault.

There comes a point where you just need to admit you need professional help with your post election whining. Hurry and get treatment before we ditch Obamacare dude.

Ain't going to happen, Repug goober fuckhole. When ObamaCare survives Trump's presidency, you'll have to find a new Repug cock to suck.

The Iranian president speaking about the American presidential election asks, Do we want such a democracy in our country? He apparently doesn't understand, there is no democracy in the American presidential election. That's just bullshit we feed the rest of world.

Hillary has more dandruff flakes than Trump, its a toss up which is more irrelevant. Trump bent the lying hag over his knee and spanked her and she ran crying to Huma's arms.

The Wasserman count has Clinton ahead now by over 2,097,000, more than the entire population of New Mexico.

If that margin were a state it would be bigger than New Mexico, Nebraska, Idaho, West Virginia and eleven other states.

The percentage margin is over a point and a half (48.1 to 46.5) as the gap continues to widen.
