Police were called to Lascelles Close in Leytonstone at 10.45pm on Thursday to reports of suspects seen with a gun.

Armed officers attended the scene and, a short time later, a vehicle was seen nearby which failed to stop for officers.


The suspects were arrested in Bective Road, Forest Gate, more than a mile away from where officers were initially called.

At what point, where the British criminal has an illegal gun, is using it to commit a crime, and is pointing that gun at a victim, does the British gun control law step in and stop them from pulling the trigger?

It isn't law abiding gun owners.... criminals pulling triggers are not stopped by gun control.

Yes.... they have had a low gun death rate and they had a low gun death rate before they banned and confiscated guns.... you focus on gun death because it hasn't changed from before or after, meaning their gun control laws did not change it...except, of course for the 10 year spike in gun murder...but we can ignore that since it goes against your point........ you focus on the gun murder rate to distract from the fact that criminals in Britain are using guns for violent crime at increasing levels..... the gun crime rate in London went up 44% in a country that banned and confiscated guns....up 23% across England and Wales.....and the homicide rate is increasing there as well....

Gun control didn't effect their gun murder rate.

Gun control is not keeping their gun violence rates down.

You have to hide this since Britain is your gold standard for gun control...and it is failing.
