GOP sweeps Erie County - City & Region - The Buffalo News

Erie County, because of the City of Buffalo, has a higher amount of Democrats vs. Republicans, yet despite Byron "Steve Urkel" Brown being reelected, the GOP managed to take nearly the entire county, including control of the legislature for the first time since 1977. And, Sheriff Tim Howard, a very vocal opponent of NY's "SAFE" Act, was handily reelected, along with Stefan Mychajliew as County Comptroller. I hope this is indicative of the national trend. Now Democrats, explain that!!!

Why don't you read your own link idiot. The GOP only picked up a single seat, however the democrats came out on top taking more from the GOP.
