Police Scotland confirmed that the girl had been charged with possession of offensive weapons and that an investigation was ongoing.

The force had initially said she was 14, before issuing a correction.

This changes the story a lot. Apparently the names were mixed up. There were three girls, two sisters and a friend. Ruby, the older sister, was physically attacked by the sister of the guy filming the event. Then the guy joined in.
Little sister pulled had the weapons, the man wanted to film the weapons to get her in trouble, and the British police dutifully arrested the child.
Has anyone heard of the two who attacked a child being arrested? I've looked and can see no reference to them being arrested.
If this is story is true the British police deserve all the scorn the world can give them.
