They’re just confused.

We knew about gay people as kids. So did our kids know about gay people. And the kids we thought were 'gay' were just interesting to us and were included in all the activities we all enjoyed. Nobody was in anybody's face about anything.

The vast majority of gay people in my life are just people too. Never in your face about anything or condemning or accusatory of people--like you are--because of their sociopolitical views. And they are bright, warm, caring intellectually honest Americans with no agenda other than being bright, warm, caring intellectually honest Americans who want to make life better for everybody.

But when you have racist or LGBTQX+++ in your face, who think vulgar sexually explicit parade displays or entertainment for children are just fine, who demand special accommodations for a tiny percentage of the American population and expect everybody to conform to them instead of them conforming to mainstream America, who demand biological males be included in woman's private spaces, sports etc., then yeah. You create a lot of prejudices and bad feelings that didn't exist before.

And I can't fault anybody who resents them when they do that. I personally strongly resent them when they do that.

Not so long ago it would have been a police matter, or the matter of an angry father to address with specific individuals if school officials and teachers decided to “transition” children, to have intimate sexually oriented conversations with them and coerced those students to keep secrets from the parents.

I just can't imagine it ever happening in my generation or my kids' generation. There are parts of the country now where the activists wouldn't dare even bring such things up. And in those parts of the country, children don't seem to have any gender dysphoria. Isn't that amazing?

I personally believe there may be a 'cure' for gayness out there if the medical scientists are allowed to look for it. Right now it is considered politically incorrect to suggest that it maybe possible for those who want to be heterosexual to be that.

I don't believe any person chooses to be gay though I do support gay people accepting their condition as the way it is and that they should be encouraged to be happy, productive, 'normal' citizens, I promote them being allowed to be just that.

That people have the wrong idea or beliefs about many many things is just a fact of life. But gay people have a far better chance of being accepted as mainstream and ordinary citizens if they live their lives that way instead of making 'being gay' as of maximum importance as to who they are. Heterosexual people certainly don't feel a need to do that and gay people shouldn't either. Being in somebody's face is rarely effective to accomplish anything positive.

The methods were wrong. You don’t start with a conclusion and find evidence to support it.

The control everybody minded left is in itself a mental disorder and it has seriously damaged America and many Americans with its militant psychobabble and anti-normal culture activism.
We need four years of Trump, and then eight years of Vance or somebody like him, and maybe another eight years of a MAGA minded President to break the iron hold that the deep state supported left has on the American politic.

This kind of evil creep didn't happen overnight. It has been slowly infiltrating America for decades now and only fairly recently has gained enough power and influence to try to take total power. So far it has failed to do that and hopefully sane people will continue to fight against it until it is consigned to an ash heap of history.

I honestly believe that natural revulsion of sane people to that indefensible agenda is one serious reason the Democrats lost so badly in the last election. I also believe it is the media mostly burying any references to all that lately is so that it won't affect the midterms.
