Here is Ms. Machado's response to the Nobel Committee forbidding the transfer of her Nobel Prize to Trump.

got it.

Obama was the first black president in historically racist America
A historic achievement
Great, but: With regard to the Peace Prize, the will of Alfred Nobel stipulated that it was to be awarded to the person "who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses".

In other news, Nobel did the most to blow things up.

Giving the Nobel Prize to Obama for being black was one the most cynical moves I've ever seen.

You can't ever over-estimate the gullibility of the American left.

obama got that nobel as a noted slap in the face to W. not because he was black.

Like I said, he got it for being black. thanks for saying the same thing in different words, I guess.
What is wrong with that?

No other black man had ever achieved that in the US
When Obama was born, his father could be arrested for marrying a white woman in much of the US

But if the idea is just to give it to a person for being black, why not pick a random black person?

If the idea is to give it to someone who is black and who also had accomplishments, why did Rosa Parks never get one?

How about Catherine Johnson or Harriet Tubman?

Giving it to obama for temporarily saving the democrat party from having to deal with hillary clinton is not sufficient reason for a nobel peace prize. Not if the prize is to mean anything at all.

It was not random

It was given to a black man who became President in a historically racist US

An achievement worthy of a Nobel

It is truly like some kind of comedy movie where there's a president who is a total fool, but thinks he's the best.
I think he has absolutely no doubt. Look at how eager he is to talk to the press. He thinks he's far smarter than them, and is providing them with the most enlightened, intelligent, informed, dignified, mature and presidential thoughts that any press ever has received from anyone, ever. He feels the same way about world leaders, that he's just running intellectual and tactical rings around them every day.

Literally.
