Here is how my dinner cost

I totally believe you. I'm sure it is awesome.
But, I'm not spending THAT much extra ( 5+ times more) for a Steak I'm sure I'd enjoy more than the 'lesser' steak that is mouth watering.

Congrats on being able to afford and enjoy this FABULOUS steak.
I can, but I won't.

We normally get 90 day dry aged CAB or prime in a ribeye. They run around sixty bucks a piece and they're very good.
If you've eaten at a nice steak house you've eaten dry aged steak.
We recently got a new butcher shop here in Katy Tx called Cherry Block. They specialize in dry aged beef and man is it good!!

Secrets.....I cook a Great Steak, but I'm LOOKING to improve with your advice.

Corn on the cob (MUST HAVE)
Salad, and BBQ veggies (peppers, onions, mushrooms)
and scalloped Cheesy Potatoes, or other GREAT options.

My first recommendation is use the reverse sear method.
It's impossible to fuck up a good steak using this method.
As far as sides go a good salad and some au gratin potatoes is the way we usually go.

Have you ever tried A5 Wagyu? Think of it like a 90 day dry aged steak only better.....way better.
It's the best beef on the planet,thank God they're so rich I can only eat one or I'd want it everyday.
I think of it as the cheesecake of steaks...to rich to eat a lot of.
We'll only eat it once or twice a year and we end up standing in the kitchen and searing 1/4 inch thick strips until it's gone.
The marbling is amazing!! Just touching it makes the fat melt,it has a buttery texture thats flat out amazing!!
