From what I have seen from several sources, the top 5 candidates for the Heisman are as follows:

Devonta Smith
Mac Jones
Kyle Trask
Najee Harris
Trevor Lawrence

The Heisman is often a QB award, and this year the list includes 3 elite QBs.
I am leaning towards Devonta Smith, as the best athlete.
Najee Harris put on a Heisman show last night against Florida with 5 TDs (3 rushing/2 receiving). Harris has 54 TDs and 3,639 yards over his career.
