But I agree, real conservatism is based in conservation of the society, whereas libertarians believe in primacy of the individual over societal interests.

Since the advent of birth control, out of wedlock birth rate has increased as has general promiscuity and STDS among other adverse costs. Can't see how this is a good investment for government to spend money on unless you like social degeneracy.

No one is talking about abandoning people. The point is that birth control clearly encourages more promiscuous behavior, and therefore more out of wedlock births. As the evidence shows, subsidizing this socially harmful technology would hurt people more. Not only in more children being born in single mother homes, but all the social and economic costs that come with it, like higher likelihood of having a criminal record, lower educational attainment, lower income over one's life etc.

I do have traditional beliefs, and the correct ones. As the data shows above, the nihilism and moral relativism of the previous generation, the baby boomers, have failed the society.
