Heidi Cruz History Of Mental Problems

Buzzfeed News reported that Heidi Cruz struggled with depression in 2005 when she left her job in the White House and moved to Houston. An adviser to Cruz’s campaign, Jason Miller, said in a statement to Buzzfeed News:

About a decade ago, when Mrs. Cruz returned from D.C. to Texas and faced a significant professional transition, she experienced a brief bout of depression. Like millions of Americans, she came through that struggle with prayer, Christian counseling, and the love and support of her husband and family.

Buzzfeed News also obtained a redacted police report from a September 2005 incident in Austin, Texas, where Heidi Cruz was found sitting in a grassy area in between an onramp and a freeway, with her head in her hands and no sign of a vehicle nearby.

According to the report, the responding officer believed Heidi was a “danger to herself,” and gave her a ride home in his patrol car. Heidi Cruz told police she wasn’t drunk (saying she’d only had sips of Margarita with dinner) and hadn’t taken medication. The officer said he didn’t detect intoxication.

If she wants to be First Lady - then she is fair game.

so does Hillary Clinton, whats your point.?

It was well rumored in 1999 that Colin Powell would not run for POTUS because his wife suffered from severe bouts of depression and couldn't withstand the rigors of a national campaign.

But if that is the situation with Cruz, I bet he rounded her up and got her some happy pills about six months ago, sort of when he sat down to write that evangelical blathering he made at Liberty U yesterday.
As the senator delivered his first official campaign speech at Liberty University, many students -- who were required to attend the event -- took to their phones to trash Cruz on the anonymous gossip app Yik Yak.

Ted Cruz s Presidential Campaign Had a Rough First Day Online

Required to attend. That's low - even for Commie Cruz.

Yes, he SHOULD have started out his speech with, "Thank you for those who didn't have $10 today."

I disagree. Going at someone because of a health issue is really low and says more about the person doing it than the person suffering it.

You have every right to disagree - as do I...

Yup.

Mental illness is not a joke and making fun of it to score political points isn't very funny to me. That's my opinion.

Are you saying Heidi is mentally ill?
You really should quit while you're a head.

Ahead or a head? And if he's a head, what kind?
You read it right. "Dick" head.

Since Heidi was not tested during her police encounter - we'll never know about alcohol and/or drugs in her system.

Around 10 p.m. on the night of Aug. 22, 2005, the Austin Police Department dispatched Officer Joel Davidson to an intersection a couple miles west of the Texas city’s downtown. A passerby had called to report that a woman in a pink shirt was sitting on the ground near the MoPac Expressway with her head in her hands, and no sign of a vehicle nearby. When the officer arrived, he found the woman on a swath of grass between an onramp and the freeway. She said her name was Heidi Cruz.

According to a police report recently obtained by BuzzFeed News, Officer Davidson proceeded to question Cruz, whose husband, Ted, was then serving as Texas solicitor general. He asked what she was doing by the expressway; she replied that she lived on nearby Hartford Street, and “had been walking around the area.” She went on to tell Davidson that she was not on any medication and that she hadn’t been drinking, aside from “two sips of a margarita an hour earlier with dinner.” He wrote that he “did not detect any signs of intoxication.”

The heavily redacted report goes on to describe that Davidson believed Cruz was a “danger to herself,” and notes that she was sitting 10 feet away from traffic. He asked if he could transport her somewhere — the proposed location is redacted — but she was “reluctant, stating that maybe she should … get a ride home” instead. Eventually, Cruz followed him to his patrol car, and they departed the scene.

The Trials And Triumphs Of Heidi Cruz - BuzzFeed News

Move along....nothing to see here

And since it was ten years ago without further incidents, I think we can put it to bed

How do we know there weren't "further incidents"...? There may be more to come...
The rational people said, "Meh, who cares?".

Obviously, she means that everything Bubba Clinton has ever done or suffered from needs to be endlessly explored. Heck, he's not even a typical candidate's wife.

Her depression is going to be talked about folks. There's a police report out there for the love of God...

Ah, yes, the old journalist's trick, cloak YOUR assertion in "people are saying" gambit.
People were already in the know. It's a public record: Cruz incident report

She lost it. The question is, how's her head these days? If they talked about Hillary's panties, and they did, they're gonna talk about Heidi's depression. Call it, the dancing horse of Rafael Cruz. His dad supplies the magic underpants.

Meh, who cares? She's not running. You can pretend she is, you can wish she is, but all you're going to do is reveal the very nasty, misogynistic, dark side of the democrat party. Go ahead, attack her all you want. You're going to turn off one of your important captive groups, young, single women. Here's a hint for you. Attacking Bubba while Hillary is running won't turn men off in the same way.

It doesn't have to be an attack, it's news. if it sells it's up for grabs. And really, she can put the girls in something other than little red dresses. It's not always Christmas.

Since Heidi is an adviser to Commie Cruz' presidential campaign - how will she "advise" him?

Having just returned from Houston, I felt like doing the same thing, except I would have told the officer I drank the margarita in one fell swoop. That city sucks. Sorry, it's just a mess. Harris County is the third most densely populated county in the country, with Houston and its suburbs sucking up most of the area. And they have NO MASS TRANSIT.

Gee, fellers, we don't need no damn public transportation...We got us our pick-em-up trucks and that's good enough!
That's Shiela Jackson Lee's area. Kind of crazy you weren't all enchanted by a democrat run area. Try Detroit, I hear it's much better up there.

Can we discuss how drunk Hillary was when she fell and hit her head on a bathroom counter while running to the toilet to puke up the bourbon? Who do you think had the higher BAC count, Hillary running into a counter top head first creating a blood clot or Reid when he had an "exercise" accident that damn near poked his eye out?

No....it isn't fair game. You should be ashamed of yourself...this is what we've come to expect from the lowlife scum like mudwhistle Redfish Grampa Murked U .
