I don't think so. Are you catholic? Do you believe that Jesus is God? Do you religiously set aside the Law of God and turn to a lifeless matzo made by human hands that you worship and eat for spiritual life every now and then on Sunday? Aren't you the exact same guy who said this about what you profess to believe is the truth?
"the truth resides within me and manifests itself as a driving force of my life." What truth? that Jesus is God? You worship a trinity? An unequalled God is really three coequal persons in one Godhead, whatever that is?
You must have confused yourself, and the truth, with the irrational delusions of the hopelessly deranged.
Without faith and the understanding of Spirituality through faith - you can be the smartest person in the world but you will never understand what I am about to testify. In order to understand what I will profess, you must understand the teachings of Jesus Christ - the teachings of the prophets and many other spiritual leaders throughout history.
You must treat me with respect just as I treat you with respect - even if you do not agree with what I say - the same way I may not agree with what you say. You should not judge it unless you want to be judged the same way.
Open up your mind so that you can understand that the light of the world is the ability to do exactly that - the ability to overcome one's dogmatic beliefs that have been embedded in minds as a curse since the dawn of civilization. The story of the Garden of Eden states it clearly - mankind was created guilt free and stress free - they were deceived into believing that if they ate of the fruit of knowledge then they would be "awakened".
But as God stated - "They would surely die" - Their simple, guilt free and stress free lives died the day they disobeyed their creator's commands and ate from the tree of knowledge. They "cursed" mankind by replacing a simple stress free, guilt free life with one full of knowledge and self awareness - but with that knowledge came a hefty price - stress, anxiety, guilt, anger, gluttony, greed, hard work, war, and so forth. Mankind became subject to the universal laws of balance, nature and survival - the rewards it brings along with the punishments.
But without wisdom - mankind cannot follow the laws of balance, nature and survival and will never be righteous because their knowledge turns to greed and closed mindedness. So they follow the path of greed - immediate gratification - resulting in men dominating their wives, women, weaker people, the underprivileged, the poor, and so forth. Without wisdom, women would be subject to men, and their knowledge of the world around them would cause them to detest the world they live in.
The Law established ways to live so that the teachings of the prophets could bring mankind the wisdom they needed. Unfortunately, time and time again, people rebelled against both the law and the teachings of the prophets. It seemed to be an off and on again cycle for hundreds of years. It took the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ so that the message of the law and teachings of the prophets could be fully understood by the wisdom in the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Jesus not only commanded the respect of his followers - he loved them to the point that he was willing to pay the ultimate price so that they understood that his message is the gift of God's wisdom. By following his TRUE path mankind cam overcome the stress, anxiety, hatred, greed, gluttony, envy, wrath and the violence and wars that ensue because of these "sins"
The TRUE path of Jesus Christ is one of forgiveness of sins, non judgement, mercy, treating one another as one wishes to be treated, humility, acknowledging one's faults by striving to do better and true justice by having ability to dislike the sin but not the sinner - this is the path of righteousness that leads to the TRUTH.
Only God knows a person's heart and with God all things are possible.
Never once in the entire New Testament did Jesus state that the duty of a Christian was to judge, persecute and condemn others.
Jesus' taught THE OPPOSITE:
Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
;Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
As for what I believe:
I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.
