Healthcare.gov Still Isn't Working. 30% Error Rate for Consumer Information.

.

They'll get it fixed. There were all kinds of nightmares in January 2006 when the Prescription Drug Plans and national Medicare Advantage started.

Then the real problems begin: Doctor shortages, losing your doctor, people not paying their massive deductibles and leaving providers in the lurch, the employer mandate, billing software disasters, on and on.

But once the site is up and running, the media will proclaim this pig a massive success, regardless of the problems that follow.

How many rockets blew up before a successful launch and orbit?

How many people were forced to buy rockets?

The comparisons people make just makle the website disaster even more glaring. The website can handle like 50,000 people at once. Amazon's can handle like 2M. And Amazon didnt take 3 years and unlimited funds to build theirs.

SS is very successful in reducing adult poverty in the last five decades.

ACA will survive in some form, and those who are on board with it will survive politically.

Social Security isn't working! Poverty among the elderly has only been drastically reduced, not eliminated! End it now!!!

Great moments in unfalsifiability.

and why hasn't Obama mentioned that it would be financially impossible for his plan to work when at the same time we owe 17 Trillion Dollars and over 100 Trillion in unfunded liabilities?

How many rockets blew up before a successful launch and orbit?

How many rocket launches were mandated by the government, and how many people lost their original rockets and were forced to buy more expensive ones?

Its a shell of its former self, its funding has been raided for the general fund, and people like me under 40 will probably only see a fraction of the return older people are seeing.

And you take pleasure in the fact that Americans are having difficulty purchasing affordable healthcare because you perceive it as some sort of political ‘advantage.’

This is one of many reasons why Americans justifiably have nothing but contempt for conservatives.

There's that, too.

But to trace the poverty rate of seniors from the time SS was begun -when darn near everyone was broke- to that of modern and far more affluent times, is intellectually dishonest, at best.

In fact, it could be very plausibly argued that today's seniors are far less impoverished despite SS.

Below there is a link to a letter that was sent yesterday to Obama by the CEO of the Insurance Broker and Underwriters of America. The letter basically says the website is sending faulty or incomplete data to insurance companies. The net result: People who think they have enrolled on Healthcare.gov may in fact not be enrolled.

Media reports say up to 30% of the information is in error. Obama and his team deny that number, but they refuse to tell the media what the error rate actually is, so who knows?

If the 30% number is correct, then that would equal 2.1 million people will not have insurance that believe they do of the 7 million that need to sign up by March 31, 2014. That does not include the 5.3 million who have already gotten their insurance terminated.

Why is this information so secret? What is the error rate? Isn't this the most "transparent Administration in history?"

It's so super secret because Obama promised to have the most transparent admin in history!

And as well all know, if Obama said he will do something, it was prolly a lie.

The source? National Association of Health Underwriters who screwed up our health care system.

Really, WQ, this is the best you got?

Fuck off, Jake. :) We had the best healthcare system in the World until Obama screwed it up. All of this bullshit and disruption to add 10 million addition people to medicaid? WTF?

The underwriters you dismiss are the only means small business owners have to get their folks insured. Healthcare, gov was supposed to be the portal, but it is so screwed up Obama delayed it for another year. Typical. :(

No, the fuck we did not, son. 40% higher on the average for lower longevity and poorer health on the average, and the less than average weren't getting that.

We are NOT going back to that train wreck of a health care system.

Yeah, obesity is not quality of healthcare...

fuck you're dumb jake.

It's not affordable and the difficulty in purchasing is temporarily disguising the fact. Not to mention the long train of lame excuses, empty promises, shifting of the blame and disingenuous recriminations of republicans and the insurance industry, for the complete incompetence of this bureaucratic debacle.

This is the reason why Americans justifiably have nothing but contempt for snotty liberals.

No moron, it's not successful... It's right on course to being 100% un-affordable. That was the issue, not that it wouldn't "work" for some period of time. It looks great on paper, then you have raiding SS, you have Obama not taxing people for it to win votes that weekend... It all works great on paper.

The back-end isn't working. Insurers get the 831 form from the web-site--sometimes they're duplicate or triplicate of the same individual--and sometimes they get nada. There are going to be people who think they signed up but didn't.

Buying off Americans with governmental goodies is the Democrats attempt at political advantage, and yet you are OK with that

progressives: We like playing with your money, and using the government to take it from you.

Where the hell are you getting "affordable?" The average American will pay 41% more for health care coverage under Obamacare. Tell me, why do you hate your fellow Americans?
