Man, had an accident last year, really humbling, I'm lucky a new hip is available, they'd probably just have removed my leg 100 years ago. Short story it was equal a direct hit on the bone with a hand-held sledge hammer, ****!. Things are good though, but after 40 years doing it, no more jump rope or running. Simply can't jump on stuff, don't want another one, thanks.

Anyway, I got a toilet seat riser, a roll away cart, and walker to rid of. Used them 10 days, though I sure liked that toilet seat lift. Used that two months, it's super cool man, keeps the toilet clean too, just got to wipe the donut hole every now and again, you know. Shit, I may keep it and plant flowers in it, serving its justice. Anyway, tried selling them on Craigslist for $20. Heck I'll give them away, I just don't want to attract hustles, so I'm "selling" them. But you can't do that, Facebook rejected it, and a dollar says Craigslist would too, because.......

Most lawyers and lawsuits are just part of a racket. Yeah sure, Trump sued by a lunatic for 83M because it's an election year, and "won". What fun. Beyond that, the more we're pampered the more money they and the rest of the mega-wealthy make, so embrace victimization, you're entitled.

Greed, everyone knows it. The insurance companies, medical supplies and markets don't get their money when you just give this stuff away, it's just too dangerous, and people are stupid; they can't be expected to inspect a toilet seat so complex.

I got to agree, except for the summation of the Lawyers and Lawsuits paragraph. I still don't see a justification for the frivolous lawsuits, won and lost. Maybe I'm not primarily greedy enough to go with it.
Broke my elbow working for the Boy Scouts. Doctor at a well know orthopedic clinic kept wanting to know if I was going to sue the Boy Scouts. Of course not, even though handled out of pocket and with my own insurance. Sht Happens. I gave the doctor the X-ray taken at the hospital that referred me, clearly showing the break. He took his own. Did not see a break, sending me home with arm in a sling, with a follow up due after returning from taking scouts to week-long summer camp, the next day, telling me to keep trying to get some movement in it. I passed the camp swim test, as I am not going to be responsible for kids swimming if not allowed to save one, if necessary. Went back to see the doctor after that week, still hurting like hell. More x-rays. He said, "We know what's the matter with your elbow now. You broke it. Then he recommended I let him cut me open, re-break it and put it back together. No Fking way, I would let some stupid sonovabitch that couldn't even read an x-ray cut me open and break my arm, and I told him that in those words. So instead I did several weeks of physical therapy, where the S&M chick took pleasure in heating it up and straightening it out. Afterward, on the drive home, I could not even shift my straight shift in the floor to get home without holding the wheel with my leg and shifting with my left hand. I didn't sue him either, but should have. Still in the Guard at the time, I became the king of left-handed one arm pushups. Not bad for somebody that age, but I have never failed a PT test in my life. Including running the final OCS PT test with 3 toes broken the night before, swelling up, the skin splitting and blood coming out of my running shoes. It was either that or get recycled to the next OCS class. I wouldn't wish two trips through Fort Benning OCS on my worst enemy.
