Oh, c'mon! I'd bet not one of those PDBs ever mentioned the entire JV team made it to the Varsity. They're usually rather fuzzy reports, with lots of ifs, maybes, etc.

also you have to love the idea that the president chooses to get his briefings in writing somehow allows people to claim that they didn't give him information. do you guys not understand what IT'S ******* WRITTEN DOWN means? you find testimony about what might have been said or not said in a verbal briefing more accurate than something in black and white? seriously?
Presidents have always met with the Intelligence Director so there is a dialogue, you know a question and answer period. Not a postem note on the latest problems. You just can't absolve this president of his failure to be informed and ask the right questions, can you?

Clearly, different presidents have structured their daily briefing from the CIA to fit their unique personal styles. Many did not have an oral briefing, while three — two of whom are named Bush — preferred to deal directly with a CIA official. Obama appears to have opted for a melding of the two approaches, in which he receives oral briefings, but not as frequently as his predecessor.
Ultimately, what matters is what a president does with the information he receives from the CIA. Republican critics may find fault with Obama’s handling of foreign policy. But this attack ad turns a question of process — how does the president handle his intelligence brief? — into a misguided attack because Obama has chosen to receive his information in a different manner than his predecessor.
As it turns out, no president does it the exact same way. Under the standards of this ad, Republican icon Ronald Reagan skipped his intelligence briefings 99 percent of the time.

George W. took his job seriously and had his Daily Briefings every morning. He asked the Intelligence Director questions about hot spots and places he was concerned about before it was even mentioned by the Director. It was a thorough briefing. Not just an outline without a discussion.

What OBABBLE does care about is fulfilling his campaign prophecy that he would end our wars. He doubled down on that promise by believing his own rhetoric that AQ is decimated and on the run. That's what he campaigned on. That's why he and PIAPS lied about the video. He is lazy...he doesn't care much for the job...what he does love is himself and he will go to great lengths to maintain that love....of himself.
