Have you noticed that Republicans are getting more desperate by the day?

We know why. They have done everything they can to bring down the president. Worked tirelessly to smear his mother, siblings, wife, children, grandparents and every one he has ever talked to.

They have tried again and again to tie him to old Republican scandals and failed policies.

They attack his religion, his education, his many accomplishments. Even things that are clearly good for the country like education and rebuilding infra-structure, they cry "socialism" and "brain washing" and "mind control".

The GOP's intense hatred of the poor. The fact they don't want millions to have health care. They refer to uneducated right wingers as "hard working" and "decent". As if those with an education are lazy and indecent.

I saw right winger Matt Lewis talking this morning, saying that the poor need to work hard and make something of themselves. Even though many have two or three jobs, apparently, for food stamp right wingers, that's not enough.

It's clear. Obama has been a good president. I suspect history will see him as a great president. Especially after the incredible number of disasters and failures handed to him by the GOP. Republicans realize this. They are freaking out that America's first black president has been so much better than the last five Republican Presidents. GOP presidents have been so awful, they even had to start a project to try to turn one into something he wasn't.

About the Ronald Reagan Legacy Project

Five myths about Ronald Reagan s legacy

Obama's policies of helping Americans with their health care, education, job opportunities, rebuilding infrastructure, keeping us out of ridiculous wars Republicans started will be seen as a model of productive politics. Republicans can't name a single thing they are proud of in the last 40 years except to smear Obama and his family. And it's the GOP who refer to Obama as a "loser".

Peggy Noonan Loses It Blog Media Matters for America
This week she calls Obama a "loser." Last week he was a "boring" "walking headache" and Noonan suggested he just "shut up."

The next year, he won his second term with a decisive victory.

If Republicans don't come up with a scandal quick and try to make it stick, all their smear tactics will be in vain. They will look like, er, "losers".
No.

I've noticed, at least on this board, that they are exceptionally concerned with racial and religious issues. They always lose with their angry knee jerk reactions to humanist agendas and yet they just cannot help themselves. Every one feels they must defend White protestant American Christians from "those people".

"Those people" want to fundamentally change America. Fug dat..

America will fundamentally change as it always has regardless of anything the governmnet does or the republican party trying to keep things white and right.

It looks like the Democrats are getting more desperate....
What's the deal with them saying Scott Walker is not eligible to be President because he didn't finish college...
I never heard that. Got a link?

It's clear. Obama has been a good president

. .

1) unemployment 11.3%, 40 higher than before recession
2) income down 14% since he took office
3) more debt than all other presidents combined
4) lied through his teeth to get liarcare passed
5) reset button with Russia and Midde East and then they promptly declared war everywhere!!
6) shipped middle class jobs off shore with liberal unions and highest corporate tax in world
7) continued attack on and destruction of American family and schools

Yep, it's clear. Obama has been a good president
Wow, you have all the GOP talking points down pat. But can you prove any of them?

The problem with Republicans is they have driven away anyone with intelligence. They worship ignorance calling people without an education hard working and decent. As if those with degrees are lazy and indecent. Only it's difficult getting a degree in anything. Not getting one seems more lazy to me than getting one. In fact, it seems that way to all sane people.

Considering that most on food stamps are Republican, it's a wonder the hate they spew towards white Republicans on food stamps. Without even realizing what they are doing.

I wonder if Al Sharpton being canned and MSNBC saying that it was working to tone down the Anti-American hysteria is a sign of "Republicans getting desperate"?

We know that Gulliani's stock spiking as a result of his stating the obvious and most pundits responding with 'it's been a long time coming...' and 'he said what everyone has been asking'... doesn't seem to have been a sign of it...

So what are the signs of Americans getting desperate, I wonder?

There ya go... Fixed it for ya.

I know one fact:

Republicans More Likely to Have Constituents Who Use Food Stamps
As Congress debates fate of program, several of those seeking cuts have high percentage of constituents who benefit

It s Official White Folks in Red States are the Biggest Food Stamp Moochers in the Country Americans Against the Tea Party

In an ironic twist to the GOP’s war on the poor, it turns out that the people who are the most negatively affected by Republican cuts in food programs – are Republicans themselves.

What a bunch of tards. That single fact is self evident.

ROFLMNAO!

Hey LOOK!

It's another example of Leftist promoting unprincipled behavior then blaming people for unprincipled behavior!

LOL!

You can NOT make this crap up! They're pitiful... in every sense of the word.

Now what could BE more 'desperate' than THAT?

You got a link to toning down Anti-American rhetoric, or is that just more crazy shit the voices in your head said?

It's really simple, Keys. The Arabs learned it from the Nazis and the Democrats learned it from the Arabs. Whenever your opponent accuses you of doing something he has done, it's called "Turnspeak."

A technique of propaganda called "Turnspeak"
The Arab League makes use of a cognitive technique of propaganda called "turnspeak", where you attack someone and then turn it around 180 degrees and claim they attacked you. Because the truth is the exact opposite of the information being disseminated it is psychologically difficult to counter and leads to confusion.
Turnspeak leads to psychological confusion and a feeling of being "burned-out" or "overwhelmed" with too much information, effectively creating a blanket of "white noise" which makes clarity difficult to achieve.

Joan Peters, former White House consultant on the Middle East writes:

The term was first used by journalists to describe German propaganda after it invaded Czechoslovakia in March of 1939. To win sympathy for their invasion, the Germans practiced what has become known as "turnspeak". They turned the blame back on the Czechs for trying to precipitate an all-out war in the region. In other words, the Czechs in their attempt to hang onto their land were ready to plunge all of Europe into war.

Republicans getting food stamps is Leftist promoting unprincipled behavior then blaming people for unprincipled behavior? Unprincipled GOP behavior? OK. Makes sense to me.

You mean like Republicans invading Iraq and then blaming Democrats for not stopping them?

Or millions of jobs being shipped off to China under GOP leadership and then saying the poor are simply lazy when in fact, their jobs are gone?

Perfect examples of "Turnspeak".

Thank God the clown is finished in two years. One can only hope and pray the damage inflicted can be repaired. It is apparent the left is rather concerned about their messiah and his legacy.

well, Bernanke, shale, and fracking saved the economy despite Obama's idiotic socialist interference. Obamaliarcare may yet be repealed, in effect, by the Supreme Court which would really destroy his reputation on domestic policy. His record on foreign policy seemingly will end with Iranian nukes and wars literally all over the place. At this rate you'd have to bet IS will hit us big time before Obama leaves office. So it doesn't look good for Obama, and perhaps for all of us.
