That's apparently packing-grade foam, instead of the flame retardant foam actually used in businesses and homes (judging by how it reacts to a simple spark). And that is why the bar owners are about to go to prison for a very long time.

impossible, sparklers are only sparking within a range of a foot or so, held many, they don't go up into the rafters so something is way off

who the hell lights a sparkler inside with wood, even if they threw it up into the rafters, they are hot but the wood does not have an oil or tar coating, it would certainly smolder and not fire system kicked on?
