have you ever voted for a third Party?

I have voted ….. for ……

  • Total voters
    14
i voted for ralph nader in 2000. i didn't like al gore & sure wasn't gonna vote for W.

Back when I was a democrat, I got tired of Clinton's lies and voted for ralph Nader. that was right before i became a republican.

I voted for Gary Johnson in 2016.

I thought the pitiful field might finally see a 3rd party candidate win. He was certain preferable to Trump or Hillary.

It is remarkable how many people have this same sort of story on both sides, how they went from one party to the other. It is as if you are programed to believe you have to be loyal to one party or the other.

You all are "fence-sitters". It's your patriotic duty to vote for lesser.

and if so, for which ones …..

neither Rep nor Dem
I may have voted for Ross Perot. I have voted a mix of democrats, republicans, third parties, independents, and write ins over the years. In 2016 I wrote in someone other than any of the candidates listed on the ballot because I refused to vote for Hillary and didn't want to vote for Trump, mostly because I really thought Hillary would win. This year is much like 2016 and I have learned my lesson. I'm voting for Trump because Harris and socialism, the wokeness, and the weaponization of the justice system must be stopped. Democrats are out to topple the country in a peaceful coup.

2000 was the last time I voted for a major party candidate for anything other than down ballot.
IIRC
Libertarian in ‘04
Constitution in ‘08
Since then I have only rarely voted and only then in local races.
