Have U.S. greenies finally returned to reality? As data centers gobble up electricity, Big Tech is going all-in on nuclear power.

They stopped the clean burning of coal in the U.S. Forced China to burn that coal instead spewing dirty pollution. Which floated across the Pacific and landed in the U.S.

Not only the commie Han—China, Moscow ulus, India, the entire Africa, North Korea, etc do the same 7/24, every year more and more. Do our "grannie" freaks really believe that the so-called Global South is with us on the path of deindustrialization and big-city collapse?

America and invested heavily in solar and wind technology,
I like solar and wind technology, but they cannot run our civilization 24/7. Nuclear power—arguably the 💚greenest of all—can. So why doesn’t the U.S. invest heavily in nuclear power today, like France did in the 1960s and ’70s?

~~~~~~>
Indeed, DSA Marxists led by Barry Soetoro/Barack Obama shut down the use of fossil fuels to generate electricity in America and invested heavily in solar and wind technology, which led t the largest boondoggles in U.S. history.
ps
The wholesale price of electricity in France is currently around 35 €/MWh, while in Germany, which ditched nuclear, is around 100 €/MWh.
Nuclear waste can potentially be used to generate electrical power through technologies like nuclear fast reactors and nuclear batteries, which convert the remaining energy in spent fuel into electricity. These methods aim to repurpose hazardous waste while providing a sustainable energy source.
Nuclear waste, primarily produced from nuclear reactors, contains significant amounts of energy that can potentially be harnessed for electricity generation. This approach addresses both energy needs and the challenge of managing radioactive waste.
Nuclear waste & management is a massive and ongoing global big business involving trillions of dollars
So the irony is: anti nuclear politics makes nuclear waste more problematic...
says who the Koch brothers enterprises who mine uranium and process the uranium etc etc etc
A lecture from foreign posters about the American reliance on fossil fuel energy and nuclear energy? No thanks.
Actually MIT grads and Scientists claim it as fact.
Nuclear waste, particularly high-level waste (HLW), is primarily produced from nuclear reactors and the reprocessing of nuclear fuel. This waste contains spent fuel rods, which are highly radioactive and generate significant heat. While HLW accounts for over 95% of the total radioactivity from nuclear power generation, it constitutes less than 1% of the total volume of radioactive waste produced.
American lefties are scared of Nuclear power.
They think we can fuel the planet with butterfly farts.
Powering America for a bright new day!
We're going to see some data centers with their own onsite proprietary power plants. A company called Oklo (ticker OKLO) is trying to be first to market with widespread smaller fission plants specifically for data centers. There are a few other technologies lining up, including sodium-based power plants and even geothermal. It's a race right now, which is pretty neat.
Guys, you wouldn’t believe it: “Power prices at an 8-month high due to low wind and surging fossil fuels.” Looks like you can’t run a sizable economy on butterfly farts—no matter how many eco-butterflies fart them out. :lol:
