California's $2.2 billion solar plant is shutting down.

No one has claimed it's perfect. We are merely claiming that bang for buck it's the best thing out there.
Yes....in many areas it is better.

But the big problem currently is that the grid has not had any proper attention since Bush Jr was in office. (Only thing he got halfway right)

We need power generating plants yesterday.
Nuke facilities take too much money and time up front to fill in the huge shortfall.
We need old coal plants put back online with scrubbers....also old city steam systems burning again....even if it means they gotta burn garbage. (Many got turned off because of the trash burning and went to all natural gas for steam)

We are going to have to spend the next 30 years making up for the last 20.
And currently a lot of the old small generating facilities turned off or mothballed because of EPA are now needed. A bunch of lil bits adds up....

And no more BS solar or other crap that burns more juice than it creates.

I drove by it a few times. It is massive. Looks like they will keep it open for now.

+1, I predict that the free world will significantly reduce the influence of the Greenie (semi - Marxist) freaks — by at least 70–80%. The ongoing Moscow jihad against the free world has cleared the hands of many of our hipsters, especially those with families (with children)
