I hope everyone takes a moment at their parties/picnics to honor the reason for the holiday and all that these men, women, and, their families have sacrificed for our nation. I hope everyone has a safe and meaningful weekend. Cheers!

Sadly, it is not freedom they fought for. They fought for the enrichment and empowerment of the political and elite classes.

War is almost ALWAYS for the health of the STATE.

A great movie for the weekend if you have not seen it. A Marine Lt Col chose to escort a fallen Marine home. I read his essay from his diary in 2004 and it was great, and fortunately they made it into a movie. Non political and gives you great insight into there are a lot of wonderful Americans out there.
