The Republican Party has always operated in the spirit of revolution, Jefferson, progressivism, Mexican America, against the Eurocentrism of the left.

The fact that Trumpist scammers called themselves republicans does not make them de facto republicans. Their politics are no different from leftist politics.

It was the same short-term fraud as the Trumpists’ fraud. After the civil war, the scammers were eliminated. Trumpism will likely have the same outcome.

Lincoln did not create the Republican Party, the real Republicans continue the work of Jefferson's Republican Party.
