Have a Great Fourth of July

Just wanted to wish everyone a great Fourth of July early. I may not be on tomorrow
and wanted to get that out. Keep it safe, and drink just enough to remember what
this day means to this country's history.
You too my friend! Have a great one! We're going to go shoot machine guns in the morning, then have a BBQ in the afternoon, followed by fireworks at night!

Let's hope the Chatter is badly wrong .

Even Fearless Auntie L is reluctant to repeat some of the forecasts I have heard in the last few days .
From otherwise sane , responsible and well positioned individuals .

But I gather 300 000 troops are on alert across designated cities .
Though if a bio- weapon is involved , I fear that will not greatly help .

.

The night when I get no sleep, not because of the noise of the fireworks, but because my dog is velcro-ed to my back and trembling.

But so far, I've only heard a small amount of noise. Normally, they start on the first and keep going until about the 6th.

Have a blessed Independence Day, y'all!

We'll will. Although out here in LA, they've cancelled the traditional 4th block party because they are afraid of ICE.

I'm hoping (for the dogs' sake) that the fear of ICE will limit the amount of fireworks the Mexicans in the neighborhood shoot off in the street.

I lived in OC for 40+ years, let me tell you that life is much better here in north Idaho.
I haven't regretted a day up here, not even in the dead of winter.
