No, but I suspect selling them air tankers for aerial refueling capability had some impact, as none of the planes, (F-15/F-35 also sold to them) they used to attack Iran nuclear program have an operational range to get there and return without refueling. So, it would have been a one-way mission.

Yes and maybe. This isn't anything new. It's the geopolitical reality and decisions by Western leaders have lead to this danger. Israel has a big brother, just as Iran and N Korea do. Among all nations who have relationships. We have to choose our future and it isn't what Iranian leader represents with all due respect.

Perhaps this will bring focus and reality to our species rather than letting con artist leaders to continue to pilfer resources from citizens in the name of climate change and illegal immigration.

Some one has to do the dirty work. The threat is in their neighbourhood and the leadership in Iran have openly called for the end of Israel.

Maybe if the world had been as blunt as Israel in dealing with the proliferation of nukes we wouldn't have so many sketchy nations armed with enough nuclear weapons to end the lives of millons, even billions in a matter of minutes.

Imagine what citizens born hundreds of years ago would think about this future for our species?

I pray for peace and the protection of the innocent. I'm just a little person, one of billions. I sure don't want to see MORE nations with nukes. There are too many already whom I don't trust with them.

The deal had been asked for, going all the way back to the Sonofabush days, but put off or rejected by Bush and Obama, actually until agreement in the first trump term, then ratified continued and put in the system by Biden, with supply schedule interspersed with our own requirement, as we have 80 on order, our selves.

They say, the Iran strike was up to 200 planes. That is a lot of planes and a lot of tanker requirements. It is not that long ago, they simply did not have the capacity without assistance. I am not sure they do, now, but supposedly we had no dogs in that race, and don't forget the flyover permissions, so they weren't accidently shot down on the way there.
