But that didn’t actually happen. The intelligence agencies didn’t say anything about Trump in the January 2017 ICA.
Taking your word for that. The intelligence community assessment is one document. The fact that they didn't mention trump in one iteration of that document only proves that they didn't mention trump in that particular version.
At question is more what Obama said to the intelligence agencies. Did he order them to rewrite the assessment to include trump? The evidence that we have now appears to show that he did.
If so, did the intelligence agencies refuse such a blatant weaponization of their work? If so, Clapper and Brennan will surely testify to that as soon as they stop taking the fifth.
Democrats' habit of keeping classified documents for their own use, even after leaving public service will pay off in that case. They will be able to prove their innocence by showing copies up their
communication to the president, letting him know that they would not be his hatchet men gainst incoming president Trump.
Keep in mind that I am not trying to prejudge this case, or I should say these cases. All I want is a full, honest and transparent investigation of each allegation. I get the impression that you are resistant to that. If so, why?
If Brennan or Clapper proves their innocence by the method above, I would even support President Trump awarding them the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
If . . .
