Has Fascism come to America?

Why yes. It has. MAGA!

Seriously though, I never thought I would see this.
Marinating on this a bit...

A country has to be alarmed by something in order to do something about it. In order to be alarmed by something, the country has to understand what it is, and what it means.

So I wonder: Has our eductional system failed us by not educating the populace on world history well enough? Europeans in the '30s hadn't seen fascism before, because it was essentially invented by Mussolini. But WE should KNOW better. Europe does, and they're trying to warn us.

Should we use your playbook? Would you then call us patriots?

Why discuss hypotheticials? We have seen the playbook you have been using.

Massive street violence during Trump years, the cia and fbi running ops against the sitting president, then when you won, lawfare and political prisoners, seriously attempting to win the election by arresting your political opponent.

That is what you have done so far.

And considering the constant anti-Americanism that is your ideology and world view, not, calling you patriots is not really in the cards.

Your are clearly anti-American far left radicals.

WE are trying to return America to... sanity. And traditional American... values and practices. I mean securing the border and pro-middle class trade policy. Does that really sound "radical" to you? Or are you just pretending so that you have an excuse to be "outraged"?

Trump’s crypto agenda is being threatened by his pursuit of personal profits

President Donald Trump is standing in his own way when it comes to passing crypto legislation.

Lawmakers this week rejected the GENIUS Act — a bill meant to establish federal rules for stablecoins — due in part to concerns that President Trump’s personal cryptocurrency ventures have created an unprecedented conflict of interest.

“Currently, people who wish to cultivate influence with the president can enrich him personally by buying cryptocurrency he owns or controls,” Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., said in a statement to CNBC explaining his opposition to the bill. “This is a profoundly corrupt scheme. It endangers our national security and erodes public trust in government.”

Stablecoins are digital currencies that are pegged to the value of other assets, like the U.S. dollar.

Getting anything passed in Congress is a steep uphill battle for Republicans given their razor-thin majority in the House, filibuster-proof requirement in the Senate, and Democrats’ increasingly unified stance against President Trump’s agenda. But enough Democrats appeared to be on board with a stablecoin law to bring about a rare bipartisan win for the president.

That’s until $TRUMP got in the way.

Quite simply, this is third world autocrat stuff in part because he's doing it right out in the open and the members of his party are enabling him.

It's all out in the open. These crypto pump-and-dump ("Trump 'n Dump™") scams should insult every single American.

Oh, and the latest: Trump administration poised to accept 'palace in the sky' as a gift for Trump from Qatar: Sources

No one is going to stop this, and the flock will defend it. Yeah, fascism has come to America. A kleptocracy.

I know that you, a Trumpster, won't understand this, but your post has nothing to do with mine. Mine is method, yours is issue.

It happens so often with you people, that I even address it in the first line of my sig.

Go grunt at someone else, thanks.
Issues not personal propaganda fool... that's the problem with you leftist, anti-American scumbags, you're lead around like the little sheep you are

I’m not sure…there has been an overall decline in support for democracy and a trending towards authoritarianism around the world. I also think social media has made it easy to spread disinformation and conspiracy theories and now we have a government actively promoting it. Also…those who lived through it are mostly gone or in their 90’s. The further removed we are from direct experience, the easier it is to ignore the warning signs and/or be an active participant. It’s like the Holocaust deniers.

The rise of alternative media is a good thing in that it reduces the ability of the legacy media to LIE THEIR ******* ASSES OFF.

Because now teh truth can come out.

Hey, remember when the media told the American people that Trump said that w.s. were "very fine people"?

The legacy media must be destroyed.

There is something about our culture that makes us want to celebrate The Bad Guy. I grew up in the Bay Area, and we used to adore our Oakland Raiders, the meanest and dirtiest team in the league every year. And look at the all the anti-heroes we celebrate in popular culture, from music to movies.

Trump's mentor growing up was infamous mob lawyer Roy Cohn, and that's what we're seeing. Win at any cost. Americans love The Bad Guy when he's on their side.

So now we're The Bad Guy. We're willing to win at any cost. More so, and far more dangerous, because we're already the strongest. I don't like it, but it is what it is, and it won't be changing any time soon.

I didn’t realize it until now…Trump runs the country like a mafia boss. The presidency is commoditized and everything is for sale including people, principles and the country.

Never thought we’d be the bad guy Mac 🙁

He has operated that way since grade school. He got away with it back then because Daddy had millions and would either threaten the school or put another wing at the hospital. In Military School (because the public and private schools wouldn't tolerate him anymore) he pretty much took over almost from day one. Back in those days, he really was 6'1" and 215 lbs and would use his size and power to get his own way. It was all about power. He was operating like a Mob Boss all the while. And NO ONE could afford to say no to him.

Due to his latest grifts, one would think that the other children in Washington has had enough. They have enough to impeach and remove him from office. The Senate just said no to him. I knew a person like that who when he didn't get his way (I told him no) he went to his bedroom and shredded his pillow. It's time to not only say no to him but to make him pay restitution. And then send that Quatar flying spyware to DM to be crushed and recycled.

That's exactly how he runs it. And he's leveraged the manipulated rage of his flock to get there.

Yeah, I never thought I'd see anything like this. Being the Bad Guy is cool in pro wrestling, but not this.

Source: What Is Fascism?

Many experts agree that fascism is a mass political movement that emphasizes extreme nationalism, militarism, and the supremacy of the nation over the individual. This model of government stands in contrast to liberal democracies that support individual rights, competitive elections, and political dissent.

In many ways, fascist regimes are revolutionary in nature. They advocate for the overthrow of existing systems of government and the persecution of political enemies. However, such regimes are also highly conservative in their championing of traditional values.

And although fascist leaders typically claim to support the everyman, in reality, their regimes often align with powerful business interests.

Sound familiar? It should.

Existing forms of government are being overthrown through the destruction of our institutions with the Executive usurping powers traditionally given to Congress and openly defying the courts when checked.

Note the last line: aligned with powerful business interests: Musk (who is raking in millions in government contracts), Bezos, Zuckerberg.

Characteristics of Facism:

Extreme Nationalism - check.

Fascist leaders believe in the supremacy of certain groups of people based on characteristics such as race, religion, ethnicity, and nationality.

Cult of personality - check.

Fascist regimes cultivate images of their leaders as great figures to be loved and admired. This cult of personality is often perpetuated through mass media and propaganda. …The Pope chalked up Il Duce’s survival of assassination attempts to divine intervention, adding to Mussolini’s mystique.

How did Fascists come to power? This is interesting, because it tracks what has actually been happening.

“It wasn’t overnight. History laid the groundwork – a pattern of liberal decay.

First, fascist parties gained a foothold in government through initially democratic means. However, over time, the party consolidated power, and ultimately secured their dictatorship.”

Note: Trump is seeking ways for a 3rd term and a Congressman is creating a bill to create a path to a 3rd term that only applies to Trump’s situation.
Without question it has.

State Fascism is dead and is never coming back. What the entire world has to now fear is Corporate Fascism AKA Corporatism. That is much easier to implement on a global scale and has the backing of every wealthy globalist.

Fascist like racist is a word that has lost all meaning.

It means something to those of that fought to keep it out of you Country. The only reason Fascism has lost all meaning to you is that you ARE one. And I took an oath 5 times in the Military to prevent your ilk to succeed. Hope you enjoyed the ride but the bus is coming to your stop fast.

Oh PUHLEEZE it's lost all meaning because it's like the Oscar Meyer Weiner song. Everyone is fascist, wouldn't you like to be a fascist toooooo! It's like racist. Everything is racist. It becomes nonsense. words with no meaning. And behind it all, the totalitarian communist marches on. What will be the next buzzword the degenerate democrats will become enamored of?
