Has anti-Trump rhetoric run its course?

I'm tempted to think that if the left's rhetoric doesn't die down, they will be pushed out of the mainstream and relegated to a political minority.
They're already down to 20% popularity.

It doesn't get much lower than that.

That means 60% of Democrats don't even like Democrats.

Leftism is a big FAIL.

Has anti-Trump rhetoric run its course?

Nothing new but the same old, same old blather continues and will persist for eternity. We still talk about Kennedy inside Cuba & Marilyn Monroe, right? So let the anti-Trump rif-raf make their silly comments. Who cares?

There has been a great deal of hateful rhetoric against Trump and Trump's supporters on the part of the left. Some believe that it played a role in the assassination attempts against Trump.

I'm curious if the rhetoric will die down now that Trump is on his second term, and his opponents don't have an incentive to prevent him from being elected:

Calling Trump "Hitler" and a threat to democracy may have just had deadly consequences

Fact is history shows that there have been may assasination attempts against a US president
Some have failed and some have succeded.

It comes with the job So Trump had 1 attempt but others had a lot more attempts

Histoy show that there have been many attempts made that were unsuccessful

It comes with the job. So it is not unusuall for Trump to be included in assassinations attempts. it comes with the job.

Lincoln had 5 attempts on his life

Clinton had 5 attempts

Biden had 2 attempts

ttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_presidential_assassination_attempts_and_plots

Trump had 1 attempt

Attempts are acutal violence such as firing a shot at the president.

They do have a classification called (security incidents) which are mainly threats of violence which are not included in attempts counts.

example - April 11, 2025: 32-year-old Shawn Monper was arrested by the FBI for posting multiple threats to assassinate Donald Trump on social media. Since Trump took office in 2025, Monper had bought several guns and ammunition, preparing to commit a mass shooting. Monper was living in Butler, Pennsylvania, the city where Trump's Pennsylvania assassination attempt took place in 2024.[146] On May 2, Monper was charged with 4 counts of threatening to murder a U.S official to impede their official duties.

Obama had 11 attempts and that appears to be the record.

3 presidents were wounded in an attempt which does include trump

So Trump is no where near the top. yeah he was lucky.

Obama has the record of most attempts. A democrat.

Why doesn’t MAGA see through Trump’s rhetoric? Doesn’t he bear some responsibility or is that just for the “other guy”?

Let's hope it continues as it is OK as background funny .

More importantly is makes tagging these Mutants easier in front of their treatment/punishment .

It would be great if someone could invent a spray which could re-set their malfunctioning neural connections .

Well, there's not the incentive to prevent him from being re-elected. And if Trump finishes his term and no fascist coup happens, I wonder how foolish the rhetoric on social media will look in hindsight.
You don't quite have a grasp of the effects of TDS. It is an incurable disease.

Nothing has run its course. The so-called hateful rhetoric is facts.

The would be assassin was a registered republican.
That contributed to ActBlue? Slap yourself, retard.
Save me the trouble.

How often do you have to register to keep your vows and commitment up-to-date?
I live in a closed primary state. A common tactic is for people to register in the other party to help shape and influence the outcome of the party’s primary in advance of the general election. The assassin was a registered Republican in a closed primary state. He also donated to extreme Left causes.

The toxic rhetoric won’t die down.

Trump once donated to Hillary's, Biden's and Kamala's campaigns. He also was close friends with Epstein when Epstein was trafficking under aged girls.

They're trying to take him out any way they can. They are desperate and dangerous.

He would be the best mayor since Rudy G. Of course Left wing NYC will never elect him.
No. Sliwa's an anti-Trump moron.
Trump has already done more good for NYC than Sliwa ever tried to.
Rudy! Yeah, Rudy's too old, he's still a great dude, though.
Better watch out or Hillary might pop in there! :aargh:
