There has been a great deal of hateful rhetoric against Trump and Trump's supporters on the part of the left. Some believe that it played a role in the assassination attempts against Trump.

I'm curious if the rhetoric will die down now that Trump is on his second term, and his opponents don't have an incentive to prevent him from being elected:

Calling Trump "Hitler" and a threat to democracy may have just had deadly consequences

There have been Orange Man Bad threads every day for the past decade.
That's not going to change tomorrow, IMO.
If I had a lamp to rub, I'd wish it to be.
Doesn't mean it would happen.
Well, there's not the incentive to prevent him from being re-elected. And if Trump finishes his term and no fascist coup happens, I wonder how foolish the rhetoric on social media will look in hindsight.

Pretty retarded. I bet a lot of "big influencers" are going to lose a lot of things.

Judging by the daily clown show the Democrats are putting on, I don't think they care about how they appear. I'm starting to think they literally have no idea what they are doing. Rallying around an avowed Communist? Really?
Trump is a national socialist

With Trump, the words salads are endless. One day it's this. The next it's something else. They're just throwing it against the wall hoping something will stick.

Now he's trying to blame it on the democrats. Even though his own people were in office at the time. (2017 to 2021). He's changed his story so many times, that even his own tribe can't keep up.

It wouldn't matter if the president was Trump or any other "Republican." The so-called Democrats would still be spewing hatred and quietly funding rioters and protesters. They "claim" that they are trying to save Democracy, but are demonstrating via their behavior, that they are lying about wanting to preserve Democracy, which allows for different political parties or groups to be voted in.

My perspective is that the vitriol against Trump has been pretty significant from day 1. I'm curious when it will die down.

no .. it will get worse . the left is getting crazier and more hateful every day .

I'm tempted to think that if the left's rhetoric doesn't die down, they will be pushed out of the mainstream and relegated to a political minority.
