Courts that review this action don’t even have to get to the deeper constitutional questions.

You have to wonder at the source of Trump's anger at Harvard. Did he apply for admission at one point and get turned down? Did daddy try to buy him admission and was Turned down. Did some or any of the Trump offspring, known and unknown, apply for admission and were turned down. What is it?

We know that Republicans in general and Trump in particular do not have any use for educated people. China is rejoicing because they are educating their people, where we are not. Well, let me back up a little, we are working hard to give them religious education in charter schools. But, how far will that get them in improving the brain power of the nation?

Trump's anger at Harvard is obviously personal. But we all know that the thought of he and any of his family actually being students there is hilariously laughable! Bigly!

Irrationally, Trump's petty vendetta aimed at Harvard and its Jewish president targets Jewish faculty, Jewish researchers, and Jewish students as well, even as Harvard is more conscientious than other institutions of higher learning in confronting discrimination against Jews and Muslims.

Overseas schools are eager to take international students affected by Trump's Harvard ban​

If Trump doesn’t want international students at Harvard, there are plenty of foreign governments and universities happy to take them — along with their talents that have helped make the United States a global tech and scientific leader.​

The future of international students at the oldest, richest and most renowned university in the U.S. is uncertain after the Trump administration announced a ban on their enrollment starting in the 2025-26 academic year.​

If the Trump administration prevails, new international students would be barred from enrolling at Harvard while current ones would be forced to either transfer elsewhere or lose their legal status.​

U.S. universities including Harvard rely heavily on international students, who often pay far more in tuition than their American classmates. Many of them end up staying in the U.S., where they have been responsible for major breakthroughs in strategically important fields such as artificial intelligence where the U.S., China and other nations are locked in intense competition.​

The blowhard's war on higher education and academic freedom is classic authoritarianism.

Harvard has urged universities to stand firm against Trump as the White House moves to direct its agencies to cut all federal ties with the Ivy League college.​

In another escalation in the conflict between the White House and America’s oldest university, Harvard president Alan Garber blasted Trump’s actions as “perplexing” and called on higher education institutions to double down on their convictions.​
