It would be interesting to know who does the breakthroughs if the department is woke If it is not then there is no conversation. Even if there are teams the real individuals who are the real movers and shakers in the group.
Check the academic histories of professors and researchers at Harvard. You can note just how few of them are from Ivy League schools themselves. Most of the medical and scientific research is via govt. grants, and the researchers aren't Harvard grads, but hired from elsewhere. Their endowment lets them buy a lot of top notch lab gear.

Curious coincidence that all threre of these major universities are run by women! I mean, in my day, this was a male-dominated field. Now it seems like women are being favored, but not for their superior qualification, but first only because of their sex, and second for their far leftist bent.
The really freaky thing is that student tuition accounts for only about 25% of their income. I think Harvard receives something like 75% of their income from GOVERNMENT GRANTS and CONTRACTS now.
That means that not only are universities promoting a socialist agenda, but they are in effect using your money to do it.

I know first hand that Harvard is a joke. I went there. I have a Harvard MBA. it was a joke then and its a joke now. Run by liberal ass hats who hate America and everything it stands for.
Not if your Daddy's a billionaire and you are preordained to rule America even as a student protestor. Bad news for the Jews and everybody else except the richboys' boytoys.
It's always been class-biased indentured servitude. Getting a job just because you can go four years without a job puts no-talent class-climbing brown-noses in superior positions.
