Lot of evil people out there. Most of us have enough dog sense to avoid them getting and staying close. My dog is not an open people person dog, but usually gets used to people and opens up, but not all people. Have a lot of that sense myself and figure it has served me well. Not having that sense in dealing with people and surroundings could easily be genetic.
