Oh, well, as long as wiki says so. Didn’t the 2007-08 housing bust have something to do with sub-prime lending rates that allowed otherwise unqualified buyers to get loans they would never be able to pay off?

Giving those same unqualified buyers a $25,000 welfare benefit was a stupid proposal by Harris and was effectively making the same mistake.
