Question. Under Biden republicans said home prices were too high. Are they going to lower the prices of homes? Won’t that hurt home owners?

If you are telling people who want to buy homes you are going to bring the prices down, what is that telling people who think their home is worth x amount of money?

Home prices were driven artificially high by Biden's millions of illegals flooding rentals. If Trump deports enough of them to bring home prices down, the owners will lose nothing. The value of their home is theoretical until they actually sell it. Yes, they may be upset if their neighbor sold their home for 300K and they only get 250K two years later, but that will still be a gain for them over what they paid for their home originally.

The losers will be the people who made the poor decision to buy a home during an artificial price bubble.

The illegals drove up the price of rentals too - same principle of supply and demand - and since the working class is more likely to rent, the invasion of illegals hurts the very Americans most likely to be struggling to get by with inflated groceries, utilities, car insurance, etc., etc.

This is why the Dems lost, combined with the fact that their nominee was an incompetent world salad queen who was selected for VP, and thus pushed up to the presidential nominee a lot, because she is a female black

Homeowners made a lot of unearned equity during the pandemic, the American dream of owning a home for young people is dying. Under Biden the annual income to buy a home went from $75,000 to over $120,000 a year. You claim to be doing good and making $85,000 a year, if you hadn’t bought a home, you are no longer able to. The first time buyers for homes was an all time low, at 24%.

We need to give young hard working young people a chance to have the same dream you and I had or are you a “ I got mine, screw you” person?
