Harris campaign is lying about Project 2025

Do you actually know what's in Project 2025, or are you just going by the panting headlines from your favorite hate site?
You're clearly terrified of it, tell us what has you so scared?
She was told to be scared, so she's scared.

Fact check: Harris falsely claims Project 2025 blueprint calls for cutting Social Security

Claim:
“his extreme Project 2025 agenda,” then said: “Can you believe they put that thing in writing? Read it. It’s 900 pages. But here’s the thing. When you read it, you will see Donald Trump intends to cut Social Security and Medicare.

Facts First: One of Harris’ claims about Project 2025 is false, while another is at least misleading. The Project 2025 document does not show that Trump intends to cut Social Security; the document barely discusses Social Security at all and does not propose cuts to the program. In addition, contrary to Harris’ suggestion, Project 2025 does not call to “end” the Affordable Care Act or eliminate its protections for people with pre-existing conditions.
And.... The Big Lie....

A Harris campaign official said the campaign has “made a deliberate decision to brand all of Trump’s policies” as “Project 2025,” since they believe “it has stuck with voters.”

There was a time when the idea of rightwingers begging you to believe they'll leave Obamacare alone would've been unthinkable. Suggesting they want to end it--their sole bedrock principle for the past 15 years--is now "the big lie."

There ya go, Lying again.
So easy for you and the other RWI's.

What about Project 2025 offends you?
Very little.
  • Secure the border, finish building the wall, and deport illegal aliens
  • De-weaponize the Federal Government by increasing accountability and oversight of the FBI and DOJ
  • Unleash American energy production to reduce energy prices
  • Cut the growth of government spending to reduce inflation
  • Make federal bureaucrats more accountable to the democratically elected President and Congress
  • Improve education by moving control and funding of education from DC bureaucrats directly to parents and state and local governments
  • Ban biological males from competing in women's sports
Add end DEI and investment into climate change hoax and we're good to go.

I haven’t read it yet and given that it is reported to be pretty lengthy, the annoying orange hasn’t either.
If it has the progtards afraid it must be pretty good.

They're enough afraid of it that they're making up stuff about it.

Project 2025 does attack Medicaid. It does attack the ACA.(by making “changes” to the law).

TRUMP has attacked both Social Security AND Medicare

Remember Republicans said they would NEVER make cuts to Social Security?

"I think these should be on the table," GOP Rep. Greg Lopez said of Social Security and Medicare.

How else are you going to ensure the solvency of the programs? Show your work.

Trump Was Poised To Inherit A Strong Economy. Then Things Got Rocky And He Added To The Uncertainty

Oh yea, Elon promised you initial pain to solve the problems "we" have. And by we I mean HE. He needs tax breaks. You gotta pay for them sucker

Half the Republicans on USMB say "they" would never cut social security. The other half say it's a great idea and necessary. Who are the real Republicans? Clearly Musk agrees.

Specifically, what are they going to cut?

The amount of money you get every month when you retire. But right now they are giving current retirees big raises.

Next year, Social Security beneficiaries will see their payments increase due to the new COLA statistic for 2025. Next year, payments are expected to increase by 2.5%.

And Trump's going to take credit for this.

In addition, with the Trump administration gearing up to take office for a second presidential term at the start of next year, there are questions surrounding what the future of Social Security will look like. Currently, Social Security is set to be depleted by the start of 2030. While President-elect Donald Trump has assured beneficiaries that no changes will be made to their payments during his presidency, policy makers have cautioned that, to increase the longevity of the fund, payments must either be reduced to beneficiaries or higher Social Security tax rates must be implemented.

You will bend over and take it too.

Of course you have a link to support that?

No it's not, its funding will have a shortfall.......for one thing, Boomer's aren't making up for that anymore.

Duh...........it's in the SS law.
But right now they are giving current retirees big raises.
Your link about the December additional payment is based on a five week month, that for some, overlaps into their next payment. This happens all the time.

You will bend over and take it too.
Not as long as you keep paying into the fund, Sonny Boy...............

This will have to be a "I told you so" next year. They wouldn't dare do it on a midterm year would they? I think they would. Now's the time. This will be historic. And 40% will cheer.

I have a Trump voter at work say "he can't do that", referring to something Trump said he would do. I laughed and said nothing. I thought "this is going to be fun next year hearing her complain, knowing she voted for it.
