Happy Holidays ,Merry Christmas , Happy Hanukkah , Happy Yule , Happy Bodhi Day , Happy Kwanzaa , Happy Shengdanjie, etc.

In...music class...

Yes. Back in the day we felt compelled to throw in a Kwanzaa song if we did a "holiday" concert. If we did, we were highly criticized. If we didn't, same. But now it's worse because, as I said, all the evidence is videotaped by the folks attending. So if you make a bad choice or a wrong move, it's all blown up online.

Most could never. You definitely could not.

Oh, the pressure! Six year-olds will judge you! :lmao:

If you want to play small and petty, the parents of students you teach don't even understand what you're saying, so they by default think you're great. And there's no video evidence, so who would know?

Did I forget you , hope not. How do you celebrate the winter holidays and which ones do you celebrate ? Thanks !
/----/ Thanks. Same to you and yours.

Of course they do. Just to be sure, I usually repeat myself in whatever their native language is if not English.

I have respect for that. You remain a teacher that mocks the teaching of the universal language of music, which by the way, is a real connection point for our ESL students.

That's on you. It wasn't me.

I have no problem with music. I tire of reading your bitching about a job you clearly hate. And pretending that teaching 6 year-olds is the toughest teaching is laughably misguided. How many of your 6 year-olds have been shot? How many fights have you broken up between 6'+ 250 lbs+ "children"? How many times have you pulled into the parking lot in the morning to see a corpse being taken out? How many times have police dogs identified drugs in the lockers of your students?

Kwanzaa isn't even real. The founder of Kwanzaa imprisoned and assaulted two female members of his cult, whipped them with cords, beat them with batons, and seared them with irons while naked, in an effort to elicit confessions that they were conspiring against him. He served a few years in prison for that.

Opinion: The dark side of Kwanzaa's founder can't extinguish the holiday's beacon
Christmas isn't either, but fools go broke every year spending their money celebrating it. What white man created Christmas? What's his background?

NOBODY "celebrates" Kwanzaa.
Thought of you today. Article in Sunday's Omaha World Herald , " Hanukkah , Kwanzaa add to city's holiday glow. " The article went onto sqyit's been celebrated in Omaha since 1966 and went on to describe some of the wonderful festivities it offers to ALL.

Some smart Jews.

Celebrating a holiday manufactured by a man that imprisoned and tortured women right here in America.
Freedom is for everyone , even those who live repressed lives.

That's why Stann likes it.
I have no preferences regarding religious holidays. I do not subscribe to any of them. None of the above. Yule comes closest, at least it's based on something real , nature.

I'm in the Happy Yule club myself. I say Merry Christmas to other people just to make them happy too.
