I have read about this.
I can really appreciate the Hindus. They didnt build their empire from fear. Instead, they built it upon liberty and individuality.

I'm married to one. Diwali, while a holiday is not as important as the various Pujas which celebrate various incarnations of the Hindu pantheon.

For my wife's family, its Durga Puja, which is right around now,

I found out about it when i was dating this beautiful dark east indian lady years ago. When I worked for this IT giant there were alot of them there too. Really cool holiday. Butter Chicken. Yum.
